Undyed Polyglycolic Acid Perma Sharp® Sutures are absorbable synthetic sutures that have high strength and excellent dissolvability. Indications include general soft tissue approximation or ligation.
- PGA loses strength in 14-21 days and is absorbed in 50-90 days
- Laser drilled and sharper needles decrease tissue disruption and required force for penetration
- Stainless steel alloy makes needles dependable pass after pass with less concern about breakage
