Description
SDI Stela Primer is an enamel and dentine bonding primer developed specifically for Stela Automix and Stela Capsule restoratives. It prepares the tooth surface for the Stela self-cure system and forms the first stage of its primer-and-restorative workflow.
Why use the matching primer?
The formulation contains 10-MDP and a catalyst that initiates curing where the primer contacts Stela restorative. The system is designed to work without separate acid etching or light curing, simplifying the restorative sequence.
Compatibility
- For use with Stela Automix and Stela Capsule only.
- Not a universal adhesive: SDI states that it must not be used with other composites because it will not cure.
- Follow SDI's directions for application and drying before placing the restorative.

One 5 mL bottle. Manufacturer part number: 8640006; 3Z SKU: SDI-8640006. Restorative material is sold separately.
Pair with the Stela Automix 8 g refill or Stela 50-capsule refill. Refer to the SDI Stela instructions for use for full directions.
