Kuraray PANAVIA 21 OXYGUARD II – 6 mL Refill is a resin cement accessory formulated for use with the PANAVIA 21 adhesive cement system. The viscous gel is applied at restoration margins to block oxygen exposure while the anaerobic-setting PANAVIA 21 cement completes polymerization.
Role in the PANAVIA 21 Cementation Workflow
Oxygen at exposed cement margins can interfere with polymerization of anaerobic-setting resin cement. OXYGUARD II is designed to cover these margins during setting, supporting proper polymerization of the PANAVIA 21 paste at the restoration interface.
