Description
Dentsply Dycal Calcium Hydroxide Cavity Lining Material is a radiopaque, self-setting dental liner used beneath compatible restorative materials and for selected pulp-protection procedures. The two-paste calcium hydroxide system is designed for controlled placement in deep cavity preparations where a protective liner is indicated.
Dycal combines a base paste and catalyst paste that are mixed chairside before placement. Once mixed, the material sets to form a firm liner that can be covered with the appropriate restorative material according to the clinical procedure and manufacturer's directions.
The product is available in Dentin and Ivory White shade options, allowing clinicians to select the presentation that best fits their restorative workflow.
