Kerr Silane Primer is a dental surface-treatment agent used to prepare compatible silica-based ceramic and other indicated restorative surfaces before adhesive bonding. Applying silane to the properly treated internal restoration surface helps promote chemical coupling between the restorative material and resin-based bonding or cementation materials.
It is commonly incorporated into indirect restorative bonding workflows after the restoration has been cleaned and conditioned according to the restorative material manufacturer's instructions.
